The Underworld Trinity

All three Underworld movies (Rise of the Lycans, Underworld, Underworld Evolution), are vampire movies that stand out because they seem so realistic. Kate Beckinsale plays in two of the movies, starring in a role that will probably forever change the way that pop culture views these mysterious, blood sucking creatures. Underworld is a movie that encompasses all aspects of the vampire spectrum, and does in in a dark, creepy style that will keep you mesmerized.

The Blade Trinity

Wesley Snipes killing vampires with a samurai sword… what doesn’t sound appealing about that! Each one of these movies takes the story to entire new levels, culminating in a  showdown with Dracula himself that promises to be one of the most memorable face-offs in vampire movie history. Blade is the story of a daywalker, a vampire mutant who can survive in the sunlight, who uses his power to protect humans from the real vampires, who seek to dominate the world.

Twilight

Ok, so maybe Twilight takes some flak for not being a real “vampire” movie, but there is some blood sucking, there is super human strength, and there are hot vampire babes…so, why not? This movie actually has a subtlety to it that is eerie and creepy enough to make you sit on edge, and how can that be boring? Twilight is definitely a new hit with vampire lovers all over the world, and is a flick that deserves your attention, even if you don’t think it will be good.
